YouTube Music redesign tackles the overflowing overflow menu

YouTube Music has redesigned the home overflow menu for users. This update aims to make the menu more user-friendly by adding larger buttons for certain functions.

This new design is currently available only on iOS devices and only on the Now Playing page. Android users have not received this update. But they have a different layout for the overflow menu. Soon this update will be made available for Android users.

With the help of this new update, the overflow menu includes various options like liking, commenting, starting radio, and adding to the queue. Hopefully, YouTube Music will add more features over time. Its menu has become very long and difficult to navigate so some changes will be introduced soon.

YouTube Music has moved some options to the top of the menu as larger buttons. These include Play Next, Save to Playlist, and Share. These buttons are more visible and easier to tap than previous list items. With the help of this update, users’ experience, performance, and stability have been improved.
