Xiaomi HyperOS will soon make its way on the consumer platform and in the meantime, we caught some impressive ‘user interface’ screenshots of the new OS, which ultimately reminds us of the beloved MIUI operating system. At the same time, it gives a slight glimpse of iOS features.
As per some screenshots shared on the Chinese social media surface – Weibo, Xiaomi HyperOS looks and user interface are quite identical to the retired MIUI. For instance, App icons, notification toggles, lock screen, home screen, and other UI elements.
However, it is worth mentioning that despite the similarity, HyperOS is capable of bringing a refreshed outlook to devices. In terms of new additions, the company has implemented a variety of customization options such as iconic lock screen clocks, and unique system fonts.
Xiaomi will offer many more customization options for the lock screen with new types of templates, clock, font and widget options, and more detailed wallpaper customization. The control center comes with a more streamlined look compared to MIUI 14. The app icons look similar to those on MIUI 14. Remember that these seem to be very early HyperOS beta releases and that Xiaomi may change the looks by the final version’s release.
