WhatsApp Announces ‘View Once’ Voice Messages to Send Disappearing Audio Messages

WhatsApp keeps introducing updates to improve the experience of its users. WhatsApp keeps releasing new features along with updates. WhatsApp released the View Once feature for photos and videos about 2 years ago, after this WhatsApp is now announcing the release of the View Once feature in voice messages itself.

WhatsApp is also implementing the View Once feature in voice messages, due to which after opening the voice message, it will disappear later. WhatsApp will soon introduce this feature with a new update.

The user can send a view message once but cannot open it again, which will promote privacy. With this update, recipients will no longer be able to take a screenshot of media sent through Once View. Also, voice messages sent through Bun View cannot be recorded.

Some things to keep in mind

Users will now be able to use the View Once voice messages feature which is rolling out globally in the coming days, but before that, there are some important points that you need to note before using the View Once voice messages feature:

• Make sure you’re sending photos, videos, or voice notes to people you trust once they see them.
• It’s worth noting that there are other ways to save your View Once voice messages.
• If the recipient chooses to report your sighting via voice message, the voice message will be directed to WhatsApp.
• Even your voice message can be easily recorded if the recipient is using an Android smartphone with its native recorder.
• Once you receive the View Once voice message, you must open it within 14 days after it was sent.

To send voice messages through this View One feature released by WhatsApp, the user will have to click on the View Once icon every time, through which the voice message will be sent based on View One. View once voice message is shown by the one-time icon. After enabling this feature, the recipient can only listen to the voice message once. Soon this feature will be implemented for all users.
