Redmi 12 and Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G Getting June 2024 Security Update
Xiaomi has started rolling out the June 2024 security patch update for the Redmi 12 and Note 12 Pro 4G devices. The update introduces improvements in system stability by resolving security vulnerabilities.

Redmi 12 and Redmi Note 12 4G devices are getting the June 2024 security update with the latest Hyper update. Redmi 12 users can identify this update as build version OS1.0.6.0.UMXMIXM and Note 12 Pro 4G users can identify this update as OS1.0.5.0.THGMIXM.

Xiaomi has recently started rolling out this update for HyperOS pilot users. This update will be made available to other users in the future.
The update size is 177MB for the Redmi 12 and 1.10GB for the Note 12 Pro 4G. As per the changelog, the update only brings the June 2024 Security patch.
Apart from the changelog, this update also optimizes the functionality, performance, and stability of the device by fixing common bugs and issues found in the device, thus providing a better software experience to the users.
The main purpose of this update is to fix all the security vulnerabilities found in the device. Xiaomi will soon start rolling out this update to other regions as well.
