The August 2024 security update has been rolled out for the OnePlus 11 5G and OnePlus 12R. This update brings improvements and system changes as well as new features. Security and privacy have been improved with this update. Currently, this update is available only for Indian variants.

The brand has rolled out this latest update for both devices with different official versions which are listed below:

• OnePlus 11 5G: CPH2447_14.0.0.831(EX01)

• OnePlus 12R: CPH2585_14.0.0.831(EX01)

This update brings the ability to show or hide media playback in the device’s status bar. This update improves the scrolling screenshot experience. Notifications and live alerts will not pop up when taking scrolling screenshots and the floating window will also not be displayed.

This latest update also includes the August 2024 security patch which improves the performance and stability of the device. After this update, the user gets a better and more stable experience. It improves the security of the device, making user data safer than before and common bugs and issues have also been resolved.
