‘Messages by Google’ is now just ‘Google Messages’
Google has changed the name of its “Messages by Google” app to “Google Messages”. Google has changed the name of this app without any notice.

This app of Google is an essential unit of their work. The Google Messages app is primarily used only by companies, vendors, and other officially aligned marketing materials.
Google’s YouTube video reiterating the big update a while back was titled, Google Hints: New Feature and a New Look Coming Your Way. Only the name of this app has been changed by Google.
The name of “Messages by Google” has been changed by Google to “Google Messages” and it has now also been added to the Play Store list as “Google Messages”. A new update of this app will be introduced soon by Google.
Google’s major home screen redesign ahead of this app’s name change has added a four-colored G with a message at the top left corner of the application bar.
