Xiaomi has announced that this device comes with excellent resistance. IP rating consists of two digits, the first digit represents protection from solids and the second digit represents protection from liquids. The first digit ranges from 0 to 6 while the second digit ranges from 0 to 9.
Xiaomi Mix Ford 4 is featured with an IPX8 rating. The device has received a score of 8 against liquids which indicates that the device is safe even when submerged in water. The device can survive water drops and submersion in up to 2.5 meters of water.
The brand has not yet revealed the IP rating for dust protection. The brand will reveal it when it launches.
Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 will be launched on July 19. It will come with a triple-camera setup. Along with this, it will work with Android 14-based HyperOS.
