iQOO Neo 7 Pro January Security Update : What’s New

iQOO has started rolling out the January 2024 security update for Neo 7 Pro users. Recently this update has been made available to only a few users. This update will soon be made available to other Neo 7 Pro users. This is a security update, due to which it upgrades the privacy and security of the device. It also fixes detected bags and other known issues.

The version number of this update has also been released by the brand, which makes it easier for the users to download the update, the build version of this update is PD2232BF_EX_A_14.1.6.9.W30 and its size is 366 MB.

• The phone’s software will be updated to a version called PD2049F_EX_A_8.70.40.

Update Size:

• The update isn’t too big; it’s about 399MB in size. So, it won’t take up too much space on your phone.

• Optimized network adaptability and stability

Home screen, lock screen, and wallpaper:

• Fixed the occasional display issue of the home screen wallpaper when you return to the home screen from an app opened in landscape mode

Global Search:

• Fixed the occasíonal issue where the Global search interface is not displayed properly

System:

• Updated to the January 2024 Google security patch to improve system security

• Fixed the issue of occasional failures in SIM card recognition when both SIM cards are from China Mobile

• Optimised system Ul localisation

• Optimised game performance and fixed the issue where animations occasionally freeze

How to Download Update

To update your device, go to System Settings of the smartphone, then About Phone, go to OS version, and click Download and Install.

• Go to Setting.

• Open About Phone Section.

• Open Software Update Section.

• Click on Download and Install.
