Xiaomi has started rolling out a major Android 14-based update for its devices which is known as HyperOS 1.5. This latest update comes with an August 2024 security patch, new features, and bug fixes.

HyperOS 1.5 Update
Earlier, Xiaomi reportedly rolled out the HyperOS 1.5 update in China for the Xiaomi 14 series, Redmi K70 series, and some other devices. Soon this update will be rolled out in other regions as well.
Recently, a report has reported the rollout of the HyperOS 1.5 update, which states that Xiaomi is bringing a special customization option to the lock screen for its smartphones. This latest feature provides users with the ability to customize more.
The software experience has also been optimized with the Hyper OS 1.5 update and all sorts of bugs and issues found in the device have been fixed. This update brings optimizations related to system fluidity to improve app processes.
Xiaomi has already started the rollout of the HyperOS 1.5 update in China. Apart from this, globally, the HyperOS 1.5 update has been introduced for many smartphones, the list of which is here:
