Magic Portal is a shortcut feature that gives users the ability to switch between app services with just a swipe. Magic Portal already supports over 100 popular apps in China. These apps belong to categories like travel, productivity, social, search, entertainment, shopping and dining.

Additionally, MagicLM works with on-device data processing for better privacy. Honor has partnered with Qualcomm to make it run smoothly and efficiently on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform. Due to this increase in efficiency and working capacity can be felt.

MagicLM is also helpful in video creation and is a first-in-the-industry feature that gives users the ability to locate a specific frame in their video. With this, Honor launched the LLM Ecosystem Program in China.

MagicRing, a feature introduced in MagicOS 7.0, now supports connections from point-to-point networks to fully connected networks. This allows calls, notifications, keyboard and mouse, files, app windows, and photos to flow seamlessly across devices.

For privacy, MagicOS 8.0 comes with system-wide Parallel Space. Users can move files to private space through Magic Portal. A new shake-to-block feature helps eliminate pop-up ads. MagicOS 8.0 will make its debut on the Honor Magic 6 series on January 11, 2024. Honor will soon release the update for other eligible devices as well.
