Google offers a “Selected Photos Access” feature in Android 14. This feature provides users with partial access to the media gallery. This feature allows users to grant access to selected photos and videos instead of giving them full access to all their photos and videos. This feature provides users with more privacy and security than before.

Google adds a new button to Google Play system update settings to access this feature. This feature again allows users to choose which photos and videos they want to grant access to particular apps.

Users can use this feature by going to device settings, going to security and privacy, going to privacy, and then tapping on the pencil icon next to “Ask every time” to select photos and videos from the permission manager. With this feature, users can increase their privacy and security.
