Google Pixel users in India may soon get a call-screening feature

Google is preparing to release a call screening feature for its Pixel smartphones in India soon. The feature to transcribe unknown and spam calls is currently available in select countries. But Google is planning to release this feature for more than 10 languages and regions soon.

Google Pixel call screening feature is enabled on rooted OnePlus 7. After enabling the call screening feature, users claim that they are able to get the feature by downloading the Hindi language package.

As per the screenshot shared by the user, Google has added English (India) and Hindi (India) to the languages supported by the call screening feature. This suggests that the company will soon introduce this feature in Pixel smartphones in India.

The information also includes a list of other languages and regions where call screening will be introduced soon. These include English (Singapore), French (Belgium and Switzerland), German (Belgium, Austria, Switzerland), Italian (Switzerland and Italy), Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish (US/EEU).

The company has not yet made any announcement regarding the expansion of call screening to other languages and regions. It is expected that Google will soon release this feature in Pixel devices.
