
Google is introducing updates to improve the experience of its users. The next beta update is being released by Google, which is known as QPR3 Beta 1. This update is being offered with bug fixes, performance optimizations, and the June Pixel feature drop.

QPR3 Beta 1
The build number of this update being released by Google is AP21.240119.009. This update also includes the February security patch. With the help of this update, Google will fix the circle-to-search feature.
This update will provide a preview of the Circle to Search feature to beta testers. This feature has been rolled out for Pixel 8 users. The update will be available for eligible devices starting with the Pixel 5a.

- Search Circle: Now working in beta release.
- Easter egg update: Android 14’s logo is now surrounded by a triangle, hinting at Android 15’s internal dessert name “Vanilla Ice Cream.”
- Biometric Prompt Dialog: Displays the icon of the invoicing app.
- Touch sensitivity settings: Moved screen protector mode to a submenu called “Touch sensitivity”.
- Adaptive Touch Mode: Adjusts touch sensitivity to adapt to the environment.
- Easy Pre-Set Mode: Aiming to simplify the Android UI.
- Swipe up to continue: Feature for Pixel Fold users to continue using the app on the cover screen.
- Chat bubble UI improvements: Planned for tablets.
- Developer Option: Allows to swap the current kernel using 16K page size.
- Media Processing Service Type: Possible addition to Android 15.
This update will be made available by Google for Pixel 5a, 6, 6 Pro, 6a, 7, 7 Pro, 7a, 8, 8 Pro, Pixel Fold and Pixel tablet series devices. This update will be rolled out to all eligible users soon.
If you’re already enrolled in the Android 14 beta program, you’ll automatically receive the over-the-air update related to the QPR3 beta 1 update.
