Google has started rolling out Android 14-based updates to improve the user experience. Android 14 update is currently in the development phase, soon the stable update of Android 14 will start rolling out.

Android 14 QPR2 Beta 2 Update

Google has released the Android 14 QPR2 beta 2 update to expand Android 14. Google is upgrading its Android QPR2 version from Beta 1.1 to Beta 2.

Along with this update, Google is also releasing a security update for December 2023. With the help of this update, the system security is being further improved and upgraded. The update fixes bugs and issues introduced in previous updates.

This QPR2 Beta 2 update released by Google comes with its identity build number. The build version of this update is AP11.231117.006. Google Play services are also upgraded with the help of this update.

This update is being made available by Google for eligible devices which are listed below:

  • Pixel 5a
  • Pixel 6 and 6 Pro
  • Pixel 6a
  • Pixel 7 and 7 Pro
  • Pixel 7a
  • Pixel Fold
  • Pixel Tablet
  • Pixel 8 and 8 Pro

This update released by Google introduces more changes than before. This update has been introduced with improvements. This update increases battery health. It also fixes the problems faced with fingerprint icons, settings, etc. on the lock screen.

How to Download Update

To update your device, go to System Settings of the smartphone, then About Phone, go to Version, and click Download and Install.

  • Go to Setting
  • Open About Phone Section
  • Open Software Update Section
  • click on Download and Install.
